Say hi to a great sunday

I had the best day yesterday with my Enjoy family.

Starting with a visit to the my church's east campus, and hanging with people there.
Followed by meeting up with C in the city for lunch, dessert, coffee and a long catch-up.
We also visited our friends who had just had a baby.
I got to hold baby J <33
By now it was around 7.30pm, so we took a train to the west to go to a chill sesh for the 'young adults' of our church (west campus only?) hosted by one of our pastors. Inside everyone was eating desserts/having coffee/playing cards/watching tv/kicking back, and outside there was live music put on by whoever felt like jamming (they're all so musically talented its cray) and a bonfire where we roasted marshmallows.

10.00am - 11.00pm of good times :)
Wish I was able to stay out longer though!

Oh and this is just something funny from that day that I wanted to share with you...
I was with C when she got her last haircut almost a year ago - it was perfectly even,
However, it appears as if one side of her head doesn't want to grow her hair as fast as the other LOL. It seriously grew unevenly. Which I find... fascinating ^_^' hehe

P.s. sorry for the lack of photos when I actually went out. The best moments in day-to-day life can't be fully enjoyed with a camera out IMO.

Say hi to friday night

Say hi day 23

She can't use chopsticks :'(
Yum. Yum. Yum.

Day 23: Something you always think 'what if' about.
Bah. Don't even get me started. I think that about a lot things. I'm a curious person.

P.s. I'm excited to be volunteering as a Red Frog at Monash's Mannix College Ball tomorrow night. If I happen to take any photos I shall post them up here. And for all those who are me what Red Frogs is... Red Frogs are young adults, like myself, who give away Allen's red frogs, juice and sometimes pancakes at schoolies & uni events as an alternative to the drinking going on. We also look after people if they're drunk and help them get home if they're intoxicated... yada yada.

Quick Rant

I look weird here but oh well. You can see my 'sadness'? LOL
So I missed my bus by 5 minutes this morning, and I didn't want want to miss half of my class, so I caught a cab to the point where I'd usually get off the bus and catch a tram.
The taxi driver ripped me off majorly!! $15 for 10mins (at most!) is crazy! And he didn't even give me the correct change back!
Anyway, so I got out of the taxi, caught the tram to uni and power walked my way to class, not even stopping to say hi to friend, in an attempt to make it on time.
So I reached my classroom and sat down. I recognised my tutor, but who were these randoms in my class? That's when it hit me.
This wasn't my class.
I was actually an hour early!!
HFDSJHDKSDHJSK
I quickly got up and was like, "This isn't my class... is it?"
Some guy just grinned at me and shook his head, quite amused ( - _ - )'
Oh and I just remembered I didn't touch off my Myki so I know I'm going to be charged for that - Yay :|

RANT OVER.

Now off to my REAL class. :)

Say hi to a late day 22

Sorry for my absence guys... I actually recorded a little apology on thursday after class (before I fell asleep LOL).

Anyway so as mentioned, homework has been eating my life. Due to that, when I occasionally go out I've been too lazy to blog about it.

However, I am happy to report that last weekend my parents returned home last weekend. I'm so happy to have them back! And, for the weekend, they brought with them some friends from Hawaii who I must say I really do like :)
The parents also brought me back some gifts...
(parents promised me a digi cam for my 18th but only bothered to buy it now LOL)

However, having gotten all my assignments in for the week I decided to blog! :) So I took a few photo at the state women's conference my church was hosting/my mother was throwing - Adore Conference.
Before it started on friday night, I had this yummy dinner catered by my family friend - isn't she talented?? :)
Having dressed up, it was safe to say I was a giant in my heels!
So I tried to be shorter in this picture next to my friend, Blue.

Here's a little video of the start of the night. Just what it looked like when I was grabbing my seat before it started (notice the guitar player on a podium in the middle of the crowd?) and another little snippet during praise.

My friend Doreen, whom I had invited from uni, also joined Blue and I once the service has started.  It was her first time at a church, and after service she said she had lots of fun and really enjoyed the meeting; so that was good :)

As you can see there was a photo booth which we thoroughly enjoyed :-)
We also got to enjoy many macaroons and other yummy foods.

Then there was day two... and ofcourse Doz and I couldn't help but return to the photo booth once more.

Overall the conference was great and the messages were inspiring as always!!

Although, I must say my favourite message this weekend was not at Adore but at church this morning when one of the guest speakers from Adore, Ps Lisa Bevere, spoke again.

Anyway, enough on church... Let's get the latest question from this 30-day-thingo done!

Day 22: 10 things about you people don't really expect
Okay so I'm going to answer this based on the impression someone would get if they were introduced to me but haven't really spoken to me properly.
1. I'm a chatterbox. (Despite being shy at first)
2. I love to eat and eat. (Despite hardly eating in most public settings)
3. I like alternative rock music with a little screamo.
4. I like to play fight, have nerf gun wars and watch live thai boxing.
5. I love making really ugly faces for the LOLs and acting ridiculously silly.
6. I'm not friends with salad.
7. I loooove dancing at parties... even more than chatting to people. It doesn't matter if it's my birthday LOL
8. My parents are pastors... of a church of over 3,000 people.
9. I'm not Italian!
10. I love travelling to Japan.
I hope that was accurate? I really had no idea how to answer that question. Oh well.

See you later loves! xx
