Sorry for my absence guys... I actually recorded a little apology on thursday after class (before I fell asleep LOL).
Anyway so as mentioned, homework has been eating my life. Due to that, when I occasionally go out I've been too lazy to blog about it.
However, I am happy to report that last weekend my parents returned home last weekend. I'm so happy to have them back! And, for the weekend, they brought with them some friends from Hawaii who I must say I really do like :)
The parents also brought me back some gifts...
(parents promised me a digi cam for my 18th but only bothered to buy it now LOL)
However, having gotten all my assignments in for the week I decided to blog! :) So I took a few photo at the state women's conference my church was hosting/my mother was throwing -
Adore Conference.
Before it started on friday night, I had this yummy dinner catered by my family friend - isn't she talented?? :)
Having dressed up, it was safe to say I was a giant in my heels!
So I tried to be shorter in this picture next to my friend, Blue.
Here's a little video of the start of the night. Just what it looked like when I was grabbing my seat before it started
(notice the guitar player on a podium in the middle of the crowd?) and another little snippet during praise.
My friend Doreen, whom I had invited from uni, also joined Blue and I once the service has started. It was her first time at a church, and after service she said she had lots of fun and really enjoyed the meeting; so that was good :)
As you can see there was a photo booth which we thoroughly enjoyed :-)
We also got to enjoy many macaroons and other yummy foods.
Then there was day two... and ofcourse Doz and I couldn't help but return to the photo booth once more.
Overall the conference was great and the messages were inspiring as always!!
Although, I must say my favourite message this weekend was not at Adore but at church this morning when one of the guest speakers from Adore, Ps Lisa Bevere, spoke again.
Anyway, enough on church... Let's get the latest question from this 30-day-thingo done!
Day 22: 10 things about you people don't really expect
Okay so I'm going to answer this based on the impression someone would get if they were introduced to me but haven't really spoken to me properly.
1. I'm a chatterbox. (Despite being shy at first)
2. I love to eat and eat. (Despite hardly eating in most public settings)
3. I like alternative rock music with a little screamo.
4. I like to play fight, have nerf gun wars and watch live thai boxing.
5. I love making really ugly faces for the LOLs and acting ridiculously silly.
6. I'm not friends with salad.
7. I loooove dancing at parties... even more than chatting to people. It doesn't matter if it's my birthday LOL
8. My parents are pastors... of a church of over 3,000 people.
9. I'm not Italian!
10. I love travelling to Japan.
I hope that was accurate? I really had no idea how to answer that question. Oh well.
See you later loves! xx
